The title race is still on in Scotland between the Glasgow rivals while Hibernian and Aberdeen find themselves in the bottom half and looking to avoid a relegation battle.

The Scottish Premiership has now split into the top and bottom half as Scotland’s top flight football clubs get ready for the final five rounds of league fixtures.

Celtic and Rangers are still competing for the title and will meet one last time in the league for the final Old Firm derby of the campaign.

Hearts have locked down third place but Motherwell, Dundee United and Ross County are still competing for a spot in Europe next season.

Aberdeen and Hibs failed to make it into the top half, as did Livingston and St Mirren, and those four now find themselves desperately looking to avoid a relegation battle with St Johnstone and Dundee.

Here are the remaining five rounds of fixtures in both the top and bottom half of the Scottish Premiership:

The Glasgow sides are competing for the title while Hearts have secured and the remaining three sides can still qualify for European football next season with a fourth place finish.

However, all the attention will be on the top two and title fight with Celtic currently six points above Rangers.

That means that Giovanni van Bronckhorst will almost certainly need a win at Celtic Park if they are to have any chance of retaining their title.

It took until the last gameweek of the regular season to finalise the teams who would finish in the top and bottom halves and Aberdeen, Hibs and Livingston all missed out.

They join second bottom St Johnstone and bottom side Dundee in spending the next five fixtures battling against the drop.

The team who finishes bottom of the league is automatically relegated to the Scottish Championship while the team who finishes 11th must play-off with a club from that division over two legs for their spot in the top flight.
