Royal Ascot 2024 tickets: Is it possible to still attend as King Charles and Queen Camilla set to be there?

Royal Ascot is one of the society events of the year and King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to attend to watch their horses take part. Last year, King Charles looked emotional when his late mother Queen Elizabeth 11’s horse Desert Hero won the King George V stakes. 

King Charles will be able to see Desert Hero take part again in Royal Ascot 2024 but will have to wait until Saturday to see him compete as he is taking part in the Group Two Hardwicke Stakes. King Charles’s horse Hard to Resist will take part in the Sandringham Stakes on Friday whilst his horse Gilded Water is entered for two races, one on Thursday (the King George V Stakes) and the Golden Gates Stakes on Saturday. 

King Charles’s horse Treasure will Treasure will race in the penultimate contest of the meeting; the Golden Gates Stakes on Saturday.

If you want a chance of seeing King Charles, Queen Camilla and other royals, there is still the opportunity to purchase Royal Ascot 2024 tickets, but be aware that tickets for the Queen Anne Enclosure on Thursday and Saturday are now sold out. 

For those of you who are interested in Royal Ascot 2024 tickets be quick as there is limited availability. It is expected that the weather for Royal Ascot will remain warm and dry. 

Highlights to look out for at Royal Ascot 2024 are Ladies’ Day which takes place this Thursday, which is the day of the Gold Cup. It is expected that the race will finish around half an hour before England takes on Denmark in Euro 2024.
