ITV executives have pulled Loose Women from today’s TV schedule to make way for the UEFA Euros 2024 tournament.

The daytime television show has been axed once again, with further changes to the schedule on the way as our TV guides are ripped apart by the Euros. Today’s (June 19) cancellation of Loose Women paves the way for ITV to broadcast the Group B game between Croatia and Albania.

With coverage starting at 1pm for a 2pm kick-off, This Morning’s broadcast will finish at 12.30pm, being followed by the news before the football begins. After the game, ITV will move across to broadcasting the horse racing at Royal Ascot.

Meanwhile on BBC One, Pointless has been scrapped today while the channel airs the Group A match between Germany and Hungary. This will be immediately followed up by the other half of the group in Scotland vs Switzerland, starting from 7.30pm. This means that it’s not only daytime telly that has been affected, but soaps such as EastEnders have been put on hold as well.

England will play tomorrow (June 20) at 5pm as the three lions face-off against Denmark.

Regular television schedules will be disrupted until the Euros finals on July 14 - but that won’t the end of sport tearing apart the brainrot telly that fills some people’s days. From July 26 to August 11 the Olympics will cause further chaos to the TV schedule, followed by the Paralympics from August 28 to September 8.
