Screening on Channel 5 in the UK at 9pm (and available on demand on My 5), Joyner plays “Laura, a woman who has the perfect family on paper – a loving husband and two beautiful children. Cracks that Emily, played by Rachel Shenton (All Creatures Great and Small, White Gold), a charismatic stranger, is hell bent on exploiting,” the official synopsis reads.

Written by Jo Rogers (The Colony), who also serves as associate producer, and directed by Adrian McDowall (The Last Czars, Willow), ‘For Her Sins’ marks a reunion between two Eastenders actresses - Jo Joyer, who once played Tanya Branning, and Ann Mitchell, who played East End matriarch Cora Cross on the long-running BBC soap opera from 2011 to 2015, then again between 2017 and 2018.
