Ginger Alden is not a household name, but she was a pivotal figure in the life of the late Elvis Presley and was the one who discovered him dead in his bathroom back in 1977. In the lead up to dying of a heart attack, Elvis had been experiencing a series of health problems, which had seen his weight climb to 25 stone.

Ginger Alden and Elvis Presley reportedly ‘fell for one another’ after her sister Terry won Miss Tennessee and was then invited to visit Graceland with her family. It was only 10 months after this visit that Ginger discovered Elvis in the bathroom.
