Roblox is an online platform and game creation system that allows users to design and play games created by other users. The platform hosts a wide variety of games, ranging from simple obstacle courses to complex simulations and role-playing adventures.

Players can also customise their avatars, interact with others and join virtual worlds created by different developers. Roblox has gained significant popularity, especially among younger audiences, and has become a prominent platform for both gaming and social interaction.

‘The Co-Worker Game’ virtual experience will launch on Monday 24 June, and will offer players an “opportunity to experience IKEA's unique approach to careers where non-linear career journeys are the norm and lateral moves across departments are commonplace.”

Applications for the paid roles are now open and will close on Sunday 16 June. Shortlisted applicants will undergo interviews between 14 and 18 June. You have to be 18+ and in the UK or Republic of Ireland to apply.

“Successful applicants will be able to flex their skills, help customers, and get promoted to move departments, just like in the real world,” says Ikea.

Players from the broader Roblox community can also join in the fun, exploring a virtual Ikea, from the iconic Swedish Food Market to a showroom featuring digitised Ikea products.
