America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel found wife in ‘pool of blood’ after a night of partying in Las Vegas

TV star’s Howie Mandel’s wife Terry suffered a fall that left her in a ‘pool of blood’ with her skull exposed after an evening of partying in Las Vegas.

Terry Mandel’s fall took place in their hotel room at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas after the couple had been partying. America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel appeared on TMZ Live to speak about the incident and clarified that she wasn’t drunk, but high on cannabis. TMZ reported that “ Howie Mandel is setting the record straight on his wife's "tipsy" fall in Las Vegas, which left her in a pool of blood ... he says she wasn't drunk, she was just feeling the effects of some marijuana gummies!!!.”

Howie Mandel had previously appeared on an episode of American TV show Live with Kelly and Mark where he had discussed his wife's fall with hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos and said: “We partied. It was too much. She was tipsy. I did not know that, and in the middle of the night she got up and, I don’t know where she was headed, but she headed into the wall. She fell and hit the wainscotting.”

Howie Mandel went on to say that “She hit that as she went down. She slipped, went down, hit that on her eye, fell on the floor, and broke her cheek.”During the show, Howie also showed a photograph of his wife Terry after the fall and also said: “Blood is pooling out and I freaked out. I picked her up. I put her on the bed. There’s blood everywhere. I saw her head, and you could actually see her skull. It opened up, I freaked.”

Following Terry Mandel’s fall, she was taken to hospital but has since made a full recovery. Howe Mandel’s career began in Toronto, Canada in 1977 when he was dared by a friend to go up for an amateur stand-up comedy at a club. Before he became a judge on America’s Got Talent, he was best known for voicing Gizmo in the 1984 movie Gremlins and the sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch. He also starred in the NBC medical drama St. Elsewhere where he played ER resident Dr Wayne Fiscus.

Howie Mandell has also hosted the show Deal or No Deal. TV star Howie has been married to Terry Mandel since 1980, the couple share three children together, daughters Jackie and Riley and son Alex.
