Alison Hammond: This Morning host confirms relationship with 26-year-old boyfriend telling fans 'I'm dating'

Alison Hammond has finally confirmed her relationship status, telling fans, “I’m dating”. The This Morning presenter had fuelled speculation after she shared a picture with 6ft 10in Russian masseur David Putnam to her Instagram in April.

Hammond has spoken for the first time publicly about her relationship with the 26-year-old during an episode of the Parenting Hell podcast hosted by Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe. The pair quizzed the TV presenter on her love life, getting her to finally open up.

Putnam, who is also a dancer and a model, is around 20 years her junior but that hasn’t stopped love blossoming between the pair. Hammond caused wild speculation amongst her fans after she shared pictures of the two looking cosy to her Instagram stories in April. Here’s everything she’s said about her new relationship.

Speaking to Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe during an episode of the Parenting Hell podcast, Hammond was asked: “Are you single Alison?”, to which she replied: “No… I’m not single.. I’m dating. I’m dating!”

The pair then asked Hammond what it was like dating as a single parent to 19-year-old Aidan. She said: “I think it’s more difficult now because he is more verbal now that he is older. He’ll want to know who this person is and he’ll want to meet them. It’s a lot harder. He’ll wanna know that this guy is treating me well.”

She then revealed what her son thought of her new boyfriend. Hammond said: “The person who I am seeing at the moment, he is on his Instagram and he is like ‘yeah I like him, he’s not too in your face’.”

It’s reported that Hammond met her new beau over a year ago when she booked the trained masseur for a massage, their friendship allegedly turned romantic at the end of 2023.

She then revealed that her son Aiden, whose father is former flame Noureddine Boufaied, had met her new boyfriend, explaining: “When they actually met, he really liked him, he really thought he was lovely, so that’s nice.”

Hammond continued: “Thank goodness for that! Because normally Aiden hates anybody I date, literally just not interested. And you just know at that point, if Aiden doesn’t like them, this isn’t gonna work. There are moments where I think, ‘who’s the parent here?!’ It’s nice though because I always feel like there’s someone there looking over me, protecting me.”
