Olivia Attwood left the jungle after 24 hours and was due to take part in the first trial

Love Island’s Olivia Attwood is no longer in I’m a Celebrity after the reality television star was forced to leave the jungle on medical grounds.

The 31-year-old was in the Australian outback for only 24 hours before she was told she had to withdraw following a “medical drama overnight”.

It was reported that Olivia wanted to go back to camp after initial checks were finished, but was advised that it was not safe for the Londoner to return.

The official I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Instagram page shared the news stating: “As a precautionary measure, Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.

“Unfortunately, the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation.”

They added: “She has been brilliant, and she’ll be very much missed on the show.”

Olivia’s departure comes after she faced the first bushtucker trial of the season named HMS Drown Under, alongside pop icon Boy George, radio legend Chris Moyles and television presenter Scarlette Douglas.

Despite her short shift on the ITV show that not only sees Ant and Dec and the campmates return to Australia for the first time in two years but also Olivia star as the first celebrity from Love Island, Olivia ended on a high.

Tipped to be a favourite for season 22, Olivia was firstly voted as the first V.I.P by the public, and was asked to pick a celebrity to join her for one last meal.
