Death in Paradise star Joséphine Jobert has teased her acting “new adventure” with her fans on Instagram. The news comes after spin-off series Beyond Paradise has been confirmed for season 3 and a Christmas special.
Jobert played the role of Detective Sergeant Florence Cassell in Death in Paradise, joining the cast in season four as a Sergeant, rising through the ranks to become Detective. We last saw her character in the season 13 finale, after returning from witness protection she reconnected with former flame, DI Neville Parker, played by Ralf Little, with the pair leaving Saint Marie together and the series for good.

Is Josephine Jobert coming back to Death in Paradise?
Jobert has revealed her “new adventure” in a post on Instagram stories. Addressing her 112,000 followers, she teased she would be starring in a brand new show. She told fans: “It’s been a few days since I’ve given you much news. For the moment, I can’t reveal anything about the project I’m going to shoot. (I’m currently in Canada).”
She continued: “But it will change at some point and I’ll make sure to keep you posted then,” she added. “Shooting starts in a few days. In the meantime, I’ve done my costume fittings (it’s gorgeous, by the way. I’m thrilled), my makeup/hair appointments, my medical check-up. And I’m training every day.”
Adding: “I’ve finally found the place where I’m going to stay for good. I’m getting my bearings. I can’t wait to show you more and share with you bits and pieces of this new adventure.”
