Colplay, Charli XCX, Chase & Status, RAYE and more are set for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Luton

Luton is set to welcome the "incredible" BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend over the bank holiday.

The festival will see the likes of Coldplay, Charlie XCX, RAYE and more perform for the crowds in the coming days. Tickets went on sale earlier this year and quickly sold out.

If you were unable to get your hands on tickets, you can still keep up with Radio 1's Big Weekend from home. BBC will provide live coverage across TV, iPlayer and radio.

How to watch BBC Big Weekend at home?

BBC has confirmed its plans for broadcasting the Radio 1 Big Weekend for viewers at home. If you missed out on tickets for the festival in Luton, you can still follow the action along in the comfort of your own abode.

BBC will be showing both RAYE and Coldplay’s sets on BBC 1/ 1 HD over the weekend. The former’s performance will be broadcast from 11.10pm on Saturday, 25 May and Coldplay’s show will be shown from 10.30pm on Sunday, 26 May

BBC iPlayer

While the offering on BBC terestrial TV will be limited to just headline acts, there will be extensive coverage on BBC iPlayer. Performances will be available to watch live on the iPlayer’s dedicated Big Weekend channel and highlights will be available via Radio 1's YouTube channel.

Fans will also be You will be able to watch performances from the festival on BBC iPlayer over the course of the weekend, and catch up on them for 30 days afterwards.

Can you listen to BBC Big Weekend on the radio?

Fans will be able to listen along to the festival on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Sounds throughout the weekend! The Beeb adds: “Our presenters will be on the ground at the festival bringing all the atmosphere and excitement, and live music of course - so make sure you join the party!”
