Not content opening for one of the biggest rock bands on the planet, Courtney Barnett has announced a series of sideshows alongside supporting Foo Fighters.

Australian singer/songwriter Courtney Barnett has announced a clutch of solo performances in the United Kingdom this year, in conjunction with her going support slot of Foo Fighters' upcoming UK tour in June 2024. 

The intimate four-night performances, including a two-night residency in London, come shortly before Barnett is scheduled to appear at the Black Deer Festival in Kent and Beyond The Pale in Wicklow, Ireland.

Renowned for her distinctive indie rock style that combines witty, often observational lyrics with raw guitar melodies, her breakout album, “Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit,” released in 2015, received widespread critical acclaim and established her as a significant voice in contemporary music. 

She followed that success up with “Things Take Time, Take Time” in 2021, further solidifying her reputation as a talented artist with a unique musical perspective, and most recently released the instrumental album, “End Of The Day,” a film score for her documentary film, “Anonymous Club.”

Barnett is one of three support acts confirmed for the upcoming Foo Fighters shows in June, alongside Wet Leg and Shame.
