Bridget Jones fans, it is time to get excited as Renee Zellweger was spotted filming scenes in London for the forthcoming Bridget Jones 4 entitled Mad About The Boy. The 55 year old actress was seen wearing a grey wool jacket over a black cardigan and emerald green midi skirt as she was joined by the movie’s film crew for a late night scene in London.

In the new movie Bridget Jones 4, Renee Zellweger will have a new love interest, none other than Leo Woodall from the Netflix hit One Day. A source told The Sun that “Bridget is going to be a real cougar in the new film and she’ll be seen starting a relationship with a much younger character played by Leo.

“He was thrilled about landing the part and will have a major role as her love interest in Mad About The Boy.” Before you get worried about whether Hugh Grant is reprising his role as Daniel Cleaver, the answer is yes. He is set to be in a love triangle with Bridget’s new younger man.

In the new movie, viewers will see the character of Bridget Jones widowed following the death of Mark Darcy (played by Colin Firth) and now the mother of two children.

Globe Tavern, Borough Market

You may recognise the Globe Tavern in London’s Borough Market as the iconic location was below Bridget Jones’s flat.

Pickfords Wharf Apartments, Clink Street, overlooking the Thames

How many of you remember Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) luxury pad? Well it is basically a converted warehouse on Clink Street that reportedly went on sale for over £3 million in 2012. 

London Stansted Airport

Mmm, London Stansted Airport in Bridget Jones? Yes, you did read that correctly, the airport doubled up as JFK Airport when the character Mark Darcy (played by Colin Firth) moved to New York.

Royal Exchange, Threadneedle Street

Who can forget the iconic moment of Bridget Jones and Mark Darcy kissing in the snow? It took place outside the No.11 Royal Exchange Buildings in Cornhill. 

Rigby & Peller, Mayfair

Rigby & Peller is a renowned lingerie store in London’s Mayfair and it is where Bridge Jones bought a corset before Mark Darcy’s law council dinner

In the movie Bridget Jones’s Baby, Bridget’s friend Shazza and Jack Qwant, played by Patrick Dempsey, talk about babies in Greenwich Park.

University College Hospital, Bloomsbury

Scenes were filmed at University Hospital for Bridget Jones’s appointment with her doctor, played by Emma Thompson, and for the delivery of her baby.
