Better known for its steel-making history than its beauty, you might be surprised at the many wonderful place to visit in South Yorkshire.
I certainly was when I moved to the Steel City four years ago so I thought I’d share some of my favourite places - they are definitely worth a visit.
Luckily, South Yorkshire has no shortage of scenic, gorgeous villages for a day out. If you haven’t visited already, why not cross as many as you can off before the end of 2024?
Cawthorne and Wentworth will be at the top of many people’s lists when they visit the county – but there are many more wonderful spots waiting off the beaten track.
