If you mess with Taylor Swift, you mess with one of the most loyal fan bases in the music industry…

Taylor Swift’s fans, tenderly known as ‘Swifties’, are one of the most loyal and passionate fan bases in the music industry; as seen by their success in taking Ticketmaster to the US Senate after the site crashed when they tried to buy Eras Tour tickets last year.

Therefore, they have no problem saying 'Look What You Made Me Do' when confronting the CEO of Twitter and the second wealthiest person in the world Elon Musk, after he posted a photo on the social media platform appearing to mock the 'Karma' songstress.

In a since-deleted Tweet, Elon shared a picture of Taylor Swift next to 2004 movie character Napoleon Dynamite writing: “I am a [Taylor Swift] fan - of course - but how do we know for sure they’re different people?”

Numerous Swiftie fans rushed to the comment section to slam the Tesla founder for his post saying: “He is so bitter that he doesn’t acknowledge him,” and “What did Taylor Swift do to deserve this from Elon Musk?”

Another criticised the SpaceX CEO quipping, “He should look at himself in the mirror, worry about that” as a fellow Swiftie prepared the masses for the reaction: “The Swifties [Taylor Swift fans] are about to get him real good.”
